dr bronner’s pure castile lavender liquid soap - i recently hit a point in my adult life when i decided i need to move on from the palmolive milk and honey body wash (you all know what i am talking about) and search for something a little better for me. i've always heard about dr bronner's body wash/soap but never tried it until recently. loaded with so many nourishing natural ingredients for your skin and also serves as a multi purpose product which i use to clean my make up brushes and dry body brush. i'm noticing such a nice change in the skin on my body. anders is also loving it as a face wash. his skin has been looking so clear. currently using lavender scent... (my favourite scent in the world) can't wait to try the others
ikea glass vases - we were at ikea recently and i saw these cute little vases. i loved their unique shape and have them currently sitting in the centre of my dining table. love them with or without flowers in them
pai rosehip oil - i've always used oils on my skin and in the last few years introduced rosehip oil into my routine and loved it. i have heard so much about pai rosehip being the best and after using it this last month i can safely say it is my favourite so far. i put it on straight after my shower at night and let it soak into my skin then add my moisturiser on top. i wake up with super soft and glowing skin and it has also helped with diminishing any pesky pimple scars.
the life changing magic of tidying up - i enjoy a minimal home but struggle with organising. so when i saw this book by japanese author and "most organised woman in the world" marie kondo, i had to get it. it's full of helpful tips and strategies for decluttering your home and life that create positive change in so many areas.
rms “un-cover up” concealer - i've really been enjoying this concealer. i use it under eyes and on any imperfections instead of a full face of foundation on minimal makeup days. it also leaves a nice dewy/glowing look. it's organic and has ingredients like coconut oil, castor oil and rosemary extract.
pearlbar bamboo and charcoal toothbrush - made from sustainably sourced bamboo, these charcoal brushes are super soft and environmentally friendly. i also love anything with charcoal in it! it sucks out toxins and impurities. this is also vegan and biodegradable. the packet says after 3 months of use when you throw it out , to bury it in your backyard. i liked that.
weleda salt toothpaste - salty/minty goodness that leaves my mouth feeling super fresh. i really love using this weleda toothpaste. i love all of their products and this is a great option if you're looking to start implementing more natural products into your life. it is fluoride and sls free, GMO and cruelty free, gluten free, certified fair trade and packaged in a recyclable metal tube.
petit biscuit - one afternoon i was driving and the song sunset lovers came on triple j by this french 16 year old DJ. haven't been able to stop listening to the EP since.
cafe de flore - i’m a big big fan of french movies. i watched cafe de flore years ago when it first came out and was incredibly moved by it. i recently rewatched it and loved it just as much as the first time. the fact that sigur ros is on the soundtrack is also a bonus. be warned though.. this movie will make you cry and question your entire life.
tony bianco slides - i was looking for a sleek leather slide sandal to wean my way off birkenstocks and these did just that. super comfortable and i wear them everywhere.
