paris is one of my favourite cities in the world. i'm really lucky that my mums side of the family live in paris and provence, so i've spent quite a bit of time through these parts of france since i was little. it's always been lovely having my family show me the real parisian hangouts and life.
every time i arrive i get the same overwhelming feeling of butterflies. no matter how many times i see the eiffel tower on my way in from the airport i light up like it's the first time (not very cool french girl of me, i know). i adore the romance and history of this beautiful place. it feels like stepping into another world. it's been wonderful to see paris grow and flourish each year i visit. everytime i leave i start planning my next trip back. if i could, i would easily live there 3-4 months every year.
the last trip i took there with anders was probably my favourite so far. the highlight was having our own studio apartment with a kitchen in the middle of the city near all the markets and boulangeries. this is more of a photo diary but i will be doing more detailed posts on my favourite places to eat, shop, stay and explore very soon.
