today is a quick little post/recipe on one of my favourite savoury treats. this goes out to all my fellow pea lovers. i created this one rainy day in my house with limited energy and food (i didn't even have a spare packet of mi goreng?) so i had to get creative with what little ingredients i did have and that is when b*tch, peas was born.
for some reason everytime i make this i say "bitch, peas....😏" in a sassy voice in my head? so that is what i decided to call it. i now eat this on a regular basis as a snack or as a side dish with dinner or lunch. I LOVE IT. peas are life.
INGREDIENTS (1 serving)
- 2 cups of cooked peas
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 1-2 tbsp of organic tamari
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried chives
- chilli flakes (optional)
- pepper to taste
add everything but the peas into the bowl that you'll be eating in, once peas are cooked (according to packet), drain them and then immediately add to the bowl and let everything melt and combine. enjoy!

notes** the measurements are a rough guide because i normally eyeball. the butter and tamari ratio is pretty spot on, i definitely recommend to start with 1 spoon of tamari and taste it first then can always add more. the chives, garlic powder, pepper and chilli really depend on your personal preference and taste buds. follow your heart.
