morning ritual: energising chia, lime and honey water
lately i’ve been adding this chia and lime water to my morning routine. it’s made such a difference in my energy and overall health and productivity every day that i thought i’d share! i like that it’s simple and not full of expensive ingredients. i prepare it before my morning workout and drink it as soon as i finish (kind of like a post workout electrolyte replacement). a few other things i’ve noticed since incorporating this into my daily routine is that my skin became much clearer and brighter and my stomach felt flatter. :)
1 glass of water
1 tbsp of chia seeds
half a lime
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp raw honey
pinch of himalayan sea salt
(other ingredients i’ll sometimes add - cinnamon, lemon instead of lime, cayenne pepper, coconut water kefir, kombucha, maple syrup instead of honey, rose water, collagen…)
add chia to a glass of water and stir for a few seconds. let sit in the fridge or at room temperature for at least 1 hour or overnight. when ready to drink add lime, acv, salt and honey, stir and enjoy!

/ limes improve digestion, skin, support kidney function and are full of vitamin c, a, k, e, folate and magnesium.
/ apple cider vinegar regulates blood sugar, assists in weight loss, improves skin health, kills bacteria.
/ raw honey counters pollen allergies, full of antioxidants, natural energy source and boosts immunity. make sure you get local and raw.
